Welcome to KS Courier Service. By using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms are designed to protect both the customer and KS Courier Service.
By shipping, receiving, storing, or using any service provided by KS Courier Service, customers agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all personal information, contact details, and shipping information provided are accurate and up to date.
Customers are expected to collect their packages promptly after notification of arrival.
Packages will be stored free of charge for up to fourteen (14) calendar days from the date the customer is notified that the package is available for collection.
Beginning on the fifteenth (15th) day, a storage fee of JMD $150 per day will be charged until the package is collected.
If a package remains uncollected for thirty (30) days or more after notification, KS Courier Service reserves the right to:
Sell, dispose of, or otherwise release the package to recover outstanding shipping, storage, customs, handling, or administrative fees owed.
Apply any proceeds from the sale toward the outstanding balance.
Customers waive any claim against KS Courier Service regarding packages abandoned after thirty (30) days.
All shipping, customs, handling, and related charges must be paid in full before packages are released.
KS Courier Service reserves the right to withhold packages until all balances are settled.
Prices and rates are subject to change without prior notice.
Customers must not ship prohibited or restricted items including, but not limited to:
Illegal drugs or substances
Firearms, explosives, or weapons
Hazardous materials
Counterfeit goods
Perishable items without prior approval
Any item prohibited by Jamaican or international law
KS Courier Service reserves the right to refuse shipment of any item deemed unsafe or unlawful.
Customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, import fees, and government charges.
KS Courier Service is not responsible for delays caused by customs inspections or government agencies.
KS Courier Service will exercise reasonable care in handling packages.
The company is not liable for:
Delays caused by weather, customs, airlines, shipping carriers, or events beyond our control
Manufacturer defects or poor packaging by suppliers
Damage to fragile items not properly packaged
Claims for missing or damaged items must be reported within forty-eight (48) hours of collection.
KS Courier Service reserves the right to inspect any package if required by customs authorities, law enforcement, airline regulations, or company policy.
Estimated shipping or delivery times are not guaranteed and may vary due to circumstances beyond our control.
Customers are expected to communicate respectfully with staff. Abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior may result in refusal of service.
Customer information will be kept confidential and used only for operational, legal, and customer service purposes.
KS Courier Service’s liability for any claim shall not exceed the declared value of the package or the shipping charges paid, whichever is lower.
KS Courier Service reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
